Women's Empowerment in Indian Villages (WEIV) Programme

Following on from our Self Help Group and Rural Livelihood Programme,
and after extensive discussion with staff and the women in the villages, ARD is introducing two new programs to support the women and their families in the following key areas:

* Reproductive and Child Health
* Functional Literacy

ARD(Aust)Inc has established an operational centre in Guraru Block, Gaya District, Bihar under the name of WEIV (Women’s Empowerment in Indian Villages) to implement the programme.
